David Parasol | Principal

David Parasol is the managing director of CT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. Before establishing CT Solutions Australia, David spent over 12 years in Public Practice, starting his accounting career in 1994 with a small firm where he became an Associate in 1999. He has worked primarily in taxation and business services, with some exposure to audit and management accounting.

David spent his last 2 years in accounting working in a marketing and business development role and was heavily involved in delivering staff training programs at all levels.

He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. David specialises in assisting family owned and emerging business enterprises. He has experience in E-commerce and web based businesses and accounting system development, including appropriate accounting software selection.

David has been an accredited QuickBooks trainer for over 10 years and is experienced in using and installing several other accounting software packages.

He is currently involved in training programs and presentations with the following organisations:

Rebecca Hii

Rebecca Hii joined CT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd in 2008. Rebecca started her accounting career in the business services division of a mid-tier accounting firm, providing accounting and taxation support for small to medium sized businesses. Prior to working at CT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd, she spent 2 years working in the financial reporting and control division at the National Australia Bank.

She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and Bachelor of Computing from Monash University. Rebecca is experienced in using several accounting software packages and became an accredited Quickbooks trainer in 2008 after many years using the software."

Lauren Horwood

Lauren Horwood is an accredited software trainer, accountant & consultant with CT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. Before joining CT Solutions Australia, Lauren spent over 6 years in Public Practice, starting her accounting career in 2002 with a small firm where she became a Supervisor in 2006, by which time the firm had grown to a substantial middle tier firm. During 2007 and 2008, Lauren spent over 12 months working in London in various industry accounting roles, including a large Private Equity business. Lauren has worked primarily in taxation and business services for SME's within Australia, and financial accounting, fund accounting and accounts payable within the UK. Lauren is an accomplished trainer, with added exposure to IT environments.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Computing from the University of Ballarat and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Lauren has been an accredited QuickBooks trainer for almost 5 years and is experienced in using several other accounting software packages.

Kathy Pacyga

Kathy Pacyga is a Chartered Accountant, ATIA and holds a Masters of Taxation; she is a technical editor with CT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. Before joining CT Solutions Australia, Kathy spent over 13 years in Public Practice and industry. During her career Kathy has also acted as a Financial Controller of a publically listed company and reorganised the taxation operations of a large financial institution. She became an Associate of a mid sized accounting firm in 2007 and has extensive experience in providing effective taxation advice to Australian SME's that have interests offshore.
